Well, my dh has been gone for almost 15 days and by the time he's back from this run it'll be closer to 20.
He started in CA went to Oregon, WA, ID, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Missouri, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, the rest of his route I think will take him through CO, OK, New Mexico, Arizona then finally back home...
Isn't that cool? Getting paid for seeing the country!?
I just wanted to share this since I think it's so amazing...Heck, he may have even delivered the coffee some of you are drinking this week!

It is cool, Maria. We did 22 states in 16 days this summer, and it was fabulous! Now, if only you could all go with him!

What states did you do?
I will get to go with Steve but he has to be working for them for 3 months - almost there...then I can go...except, I'll need a babysitter... we don't have one of those anyway...
But, when Isabella turns 10, she'll be able to go - I love that! What a cool way to school!

I am compiling a long narration of our trip...but we went from NY to Las Vegas and back. I'll have to check the map  .
How is your dh enjoying the drive? Do they let him drink the coffee?

Unfortunately, my dh is not a big coffee drinker...he does like sports drinks  ...I'm working on him to consume more water...
I'll ask him, Cay about Community Coffee...anything special about it?

Community Coffee is the song of the south , literally the coffee that wakes us up every morning.
AFter I posted, it dawned on me that Community probably isn't sold anywhere but here.I've know people to pack it in their suitcase when they leave here.
It has been proclaimed the "State Coffee of Louisiana".

Goddard is a tiny town (some might call it a suburb) of Wichita, where we live!

Cay my dh loved the coffee in LA...and I do mean loved it!! He almost didn't want to drive home. He loaded up on coffee and we drove from Metarie (spelling?) straight to Chicago.
Maria~you dh is my dh's new hero along with having a great name too!
Anytime dh gets to Illinois near Chicago we would be happy to give him a home-cooked meal and a sports drink!!!

That coffee is good...although I will confess my mother drinks French Market and Cafe du Monde as her first choices.
