We are working our way through Ancient Egypt.
My children, who are usually very picky about food, would like to try a dish from Egypt.

Anyone have a recipe or food idea?

I did a bit of research one day for quick eats for a tea. Easiest thing I came up with was a whole date stuffed with a pistachio.
Very easy, just my speed that day!

There was a great recipe for fig cakes in one of our Encient Eygpt picture books, but I've already returned it Try a google search maybe and see what's cooking!! The stuffed date sounds yummy too!
