When you were pregnant, when did your morning/all day sickness go away? I mean, did it last past your first trimester? I am at 15 weeks, waiting for it to go away any minute, but am worried that it may never go
away until this baby comes. (I would add that green smiley icon but I don't know how)

Dear Glenn,
With each successive pregnancy, my nausea has increased and lengthened. This pregnancy, I began to notice a very, slight gradual relief of nausea symtpoms around 13 weeks but it wasn't completely gone until close to 16 or 17! Hang in there! I'll say a prayer for you! OH, and just to let you know I understand and commiserate, here's the green icon for you!

My last two pregnancies, I turned the corner into feeling half-normal about 18 weeks. It was the more "typical" 13 weeks with my first two, though. Don't lose hope yet!

Usually for me it started to decrease around 13-14 weeks and was pretty much gone by 16 weeks. Most of my dc are girls; with my one boy the nausea and vomiting lasted until more like 26 weeks. I have heard some people have longer/worse morning( ) sickness with their girls. Either way, there seems to sometimes be a correlation between how sick you feel and which *color* baby you're expecting.
Peace,
Nancy

Mine lasts until near the 20 week mark. My girls were harder nausea wise.

I agree girls were worse, but the boys were tough too. It eases around 14 weeks and tapers off over the next month or so. I've found stress increases the length and intensity.
Is it possible you are having twins? The twin sickness was the worst with annointing at the sick at 20 weeks which made an almost immediate difference.

I was sick all day, every day (the throwing up kind... Sorry if that was too much to share but some people have just nausea, which isn't any better, I know, and some have actual problems keeping food down.) Mine has lasted anywhere from 12 to 16 weeks with my pregnancies.
Hang in there. I know it's rough now and you're miserable but we know it will be soooo worth it in the end!

Thank you ladies, for your responses, and encouragement. I don't think I have twins, but I guess I'll find out at my 18 week sonogram. It IS so worth it in the end! Thank you for reminding me!

Maybe I shouldn't share this?
I am sick pretty much all the way through. I have to be medicated, which puts me to sleep, which is the only time I am not throwing up. It is a struggle just to keep me hydrated ( a real issue in AZ.)
For this last pregnancy, I walked out of the hospital weighing 44 pounds less than when I conceived. Pregnancy is the most effective diet I can go on, it seems . But I was never anemic, and baby was a healthy 9.8 pounds at birth.
I have since gained every ounce back plus some .
But, it wasn't so horrible that I didn't go through it again...and again... Well, actually for me it was pretty horrible, but so worth it anyway.
I personally had no difference with the girls or the boy.

With my two girls, I was nauseus only for the first three months but no throwing up. I had no problem with the boys, though.

Hi Glenn,
My morning-all-day-sickness passes at pretty much exactly 12 weeks, so I have it easy in comparison. Praying for you! It's so hard to see the end when you're in the middle of it! Yuck!
