I posted a few weeks back about my dad needing an outpatient proceedure for kidney stones.
My mom called this evening and told me it is set for tomorrow AM.
While there is no cutting involved, it does involve a general anesthetic. Please pray for a safe procedure and a quick recovery. My (step)dad's name is John.

Absolutely praying here - I went through the procedure myself 2 years ago (3 week post c-section) and will be doing it again after the birth of this baby.
Lord, keep John safe.

Krisann,
I think my husband's kidney stones were more difficult for him than giving birth was for me. His lithotripsy was just prior to me delivering our third child. We would joke that at least I get to hold a new snuggly baby after childbirth and he just gets a bunch of stones.
Your (step)Dad should feel much better after the lithotripsy. Count on our prayers for him!!!

Thank you for all your prayers! The procedure went smoothly and he is home recovering. My mom said he has some discomfort but is doing well.
