My stepfather has suffered a heart attack. The plan is to do a catheterization on Thursday and then decide whether to place a stent or do bypass surgery. They are in Florida. Please pray for him and for my mom. Between my stepfather, the baby due soon, and my cousin (who lives with my mom) getting married November 4th, my mother is experiencing a bit of emotional overload.

Updating: My stepfather had an angiogram last Thursday. They put three stents in. There was another vessel that is totally blocked that they cannot stent and will not bypass. He is on a medication regime (but isn't tolertaing it very well just yet). My mom is holding up but is understandably firghtened and very frustrated that she cannot leave him just yet to come see the baby.
