Spring boarding off of Dealing with Female Alter Servers discussion, I had to idea to start a Girl’s Alter Society type group in our parish.

In my vision I would see girls and their mothers or older girls in the parish (?) learning to assist to Priest and Parish by serving to prepare needed things for the Mass.

I am interested in your opinions AND in traditional roles that woman have done in years past (preparing the linens, decorating the church, keep a vase of flower for Mary, ????)
