Hi there, I have been lurking casually for a while now and I finally have a question for the language arts forum!

I'm Amy, "reverted" Catholic after a round-about journey. My husband is an unbeliever but I am pretty sure that is the only thing wrong with him! We have three kids: dd10, ds8, and dd11mos. We have been homeschooling pretty much all along with a short detour into a private kindergarten. We've meshed lots of philosophies and styles into our homeschooling over the years, but this year we are pretty academic with my oldest being in 5th grade now. I think my favorite hs book is Karen Andreola's A Charlotte Mason Companion; I now also have the Original HSing Series by CM and have been reading through those slowly.

It's nice to be here - I hope to get to know some of you better!
