Hi. I've been working on adding some ideas to a unit at HSS-- Curious George. Lots of people have been interested in it because the video is going to be released soon. I am planning on using it with my own ds in about 2 weeks.
Does anyone have anything to add? You can check the unit out here-- Curious George Temp File
Some of the links may not work yet...I haven't uploaded some things yet.
Anyway, you gals seem to be experts in adding to units! Let me know if you have any other ideas! :) ami*

For older students, a good go along book is The Journey that Saved Curious George: The True Wartime Escape of Margaret and H.A. Rey by Louise Borden. It's a lengthy picture book that tells about how the Reys fled from Paris just before the Nazis invaded. It has some biographical information about the authors from before and after their flight from Paris, but that is the most exciting part of the book. Curious George was originally named Fifi. There are photographs, copies of H.A. Rey's diary entries, and lovely illustrations. My 8 year old really enjoyed this book when we did a Curious George unit last spring before the movie came out.

Thanks for the kind words, but there were four people working on this one, so I can't take the credit! :)
I added in the book title! Thanks! :)
I moved it back over to it's normal spot (the temp folder is gone). You can find it in primary units. If I need to post a link later, I will, but I need to get to sleep! :)

Thanks Ami! We'll have to try this one sometime, as we've got some Curious George fans here!

Two more people added some lessons!
Now, there are over 20 activities and lessons to choose from!
I think this is our first ever Homeschool Share Unit where 6 people have worked on it! The more the merrier

ENJOY!
