The kids are into kite flying these days. Does anyone have any ideas pertaining to kites?

Goodness, I sure hope I don't annoy you all by posting about HSS all the time.

Anyway, we have a new literature based unit study that would work for you-- Fish in the Air

We just received another kite unit-- Flight of the Union -- we are working on polishing it up a bit; it should be up in about a week!

We've enjoyed the books we've used from the series "Asian Arts and Crafts for Creative Kids." I haven't used the kite one but imgine it would be good as well.

I'm glad to know that I'm not bugging ya!

I was working with Flight of the Union last night...it is a super cool story! It's based on the true story of a boy who flew his kite across Niagra Falls so that the first suspension brige across the falls could be built! I think kids will really enjoy the book! :) The unit writer submitted kite history, math/kite lessons, how to make kite links, kite safety lessons, and SO much more! I am really excited! Too bad my oldest is 4! We will have to wait awhile before we do this one some windy week! :)

I will let you know as soon as it's up and running. My partner in crime has to help me fine tune the science lessons. :) Ami
