We discovered yesterday afternoon white ants (termites) in our garden, we are in shock  (I don't know why as it is a plague everywhere) we need to get an inspector out early next week and we pray that it is not in the house in any way and that we have caught something early. This is such a distructive creature, my mother spent $4,000 on eradication & damage expenses only a few months ago and you hear terrible stories about the destruction and costs.
We were about to leave this coming Friday for a holiday to Sydney, one that we were looking forward to as we don't get away often - this is also up in the air now until the evaluation comes in. Any prayers would be wonderful.

Praying here! We just spent $1000 for a termite treatment on the house we were selling. 
Hopefully they are "just passing through" and have not done any damage.

We were just informed that where we live (in Tucson, Arizona, USA) there are more termites than anywhere else in the USA. Don't know if that's true, but can sympathize with you a bit.

I can sympathize! Never bring home free mulch from the dump made out of the city's cast-off Christmas trees, they can harbor termites, we found out the hard way.
Praying you hear some good news next week for the inspector.

How can I can you all enough for your prayers? 
We had our inspection today and we were given the all clear on our house and yard - we will have some trees drilled soon to make sure that the nest where these termites had come from is not in any of the trees.
He hasn't insisted either, that we pull out our lovely Mary garden as we had feared,  which is in front of our front patio - we just have to take the wood out and build a complete rock wall instead.
Sydney here we come still! We are going down for a wedding and my gregorian chant schola is singing in a music festival for the feast of the Triumph of the Cross - so thank you once again for your care and concern.
