I have two prayer requests tonight...
1. My SIL Lupita (my husband's brother's wife) is having an emergency c-section right now. I am not sure why. My other SIL, also Lupita  (my husband's sister), just left a message on my husband's cell phone. She was due on the 12th of August but has gestational diabetes and some other problems. She is also very heavy right now and that can be very dangerous during any surgery. Please pray for a safe delivery, healthy baby (we know its a Boy but they haven't told us the name), and a quick and easy recovery.
2. It is really raining a lot in Belen where the house we are selling is located. They said on the news that they were expecting 3 inches in the last hour alone. The house is under contract, we are just waiting for the inspections, etc. We have no flood insurance and no money for repairs. Please pray that there is no flooding in our house and no other damage.

Lupita had the baby last night. He is on a ventilator. They wanted to airlift him to Tucson but it was raining too hard so they had to wait for a special ambulance to come down and then take him up there. He is doing better but as far as we know he is still on the vent.
(I am getting information 3rd hand from a woman who speaks mostly spanish )
Lupita is doing well, and Hector is at the hospital with the baby.
The baby's name is Rene Ramon Robles (I am not sure of the spelling but I know there should be accents in there.  ) He weighs 6 lbs. 8 ounces.
I am not sure how long Lupita will have to stay in the hospital in Sierra Vista, but I am sure it will be at least another day. (My only c-section was 20 years ago and I was in for 5 days, how long do they keep you now?)
Please pray that Rene does well and is taken off the vent very soon and that there are no lasting effects.
And our house is not under water. We talked to our next door neighbor and she said the surrounding area is very flooded but it is not too bad on our street. I will have to see if the realtor can get in to make sure there is no water inside. My daughter lives 1/2 a mile from our house and her area is flooded half way up the car doors. She can't even get into her car. She lives in a second floor apartment so at least her apt won't flood.

Prayers for Rene and his mother. How about the other woman - how is she and her baby, do you know? Prayers for her as well.

I was typing so fast that I didn't realize that the first post doesn't make sense.

Ok, we got more news...
Apparently when Rene was born his blood sugar was at 10, which is way too low. This caused a domino effect. His heart was beating too fast causing it to enlarge which pressed into his lungs causing him to have breathing problems.
They have stabilized his sugar, he is still on a vent but they are hoping now that everything has stabilized his heart will shrink back to normal allowing his lungs to fully expand so he can be taken off the vent. He is listed in stable condition right now.
My BIL and SIL tried for 8 years to have a baby and were told it probably wouldn't happen. They did end up pregant finally after they had given up trying and had a little girl about 5 years ago. Then Lupita had a miscarriage last year when I was pregnant with Jack. They were devastated. She conceived again and of course they were very nervous. Little Rene is an unexpected miracle.
Please pray for God's peace for them and for little Rene to make a complete recovery.

Catching up on posts - we were traveling over the weekend. I'll keep Rene in my prayers - and that's good news about your house! We watched the news last night about the flooding - we were grateful to be in the East Mountains and to be safely home (we drove through some of the rain).

My dh just told me that Lupita was discharged from the hospital in Sierra Vista and is on her way to Tucson to be with Rene.
Rene is doing better. He is on 1/2 the dose of medications and 1/2 ventilator (not sure what he meant by that but that is what he said they told him - any nurses or doctors here that have a clue?).
They are supposed to be re-evaluating his heart some time today.
Thank you for your prayers! They are working! 
The realtor called and said the house is ok, no water damage; but a neighbor called him and said that the back door was open in the rain last night.  The neighbor said he sent someone to close it. The doors should have been locked so we are not sure if he is talking about the right house. The realtor is going over today to check it out.
Please say a quick prayer for all the residents of Belen, there was some pretty severe flood damage to a lot of the area and almost no one had flood insurance - it is the desert. 
One last item...
On Sunday one of my husband's employees allowed an aquaintance to sleep on his couch. Monday morning she was found dead in the bathroom. She apparently took her own life.
Unfortunately, I do not know her name or anything about her. The employee is a 62 year old gentleman named Danny. Luis (rents a room from Danny), is the one who actually found her. Please remember the lady, Luis, and Danny in your prayers.

Baby Rene is doing better.  His dad says they hope to bring him home by the end of this week.
I have not heard anything else about the scans of his heart but I am guessing that it must be good if they are going to let him come home soon.

1. Rene was released from the hospital this evening!
Thank you all for your prayers!
2. The rain didn't get our house but apparently termites did.  We have to spend $1000 to have it treated!  At least we will be out of the house payment. We are supposed to close on Wednesday.

I am sorry about the termites  ! We are in the process of getting rid of carpenter ants. Yuck! But I am happy to hear you are closing this week! Houses up here are taking up to two years (or longer) to sell.
