Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hey y'all --

Does anyone use (or know anything about)Horizon Math from Alpha Omega? I have a few Cahtolic homeschooling friends who "swear" by it for the lower grades, some recommedning using before Saxon 54, others using it through elementary.

It sounds so "workbooky" to me, is it?

Any advice would be much appreciated! I thought I had decided to use MathUSee for my 1st grader next year, but now ????????

Thanks and blessings for a Holy Easter Season!

We use the K program, and will be starting Horizons 1 in a few months. It's a workbook program, but the TM gives lots of ideas to expand the lessons using manips, etc. We really enjoy it. It spirals, like Saxon, but is very bright and colorful. We probably will use it through 3rd grade and then switch over to Saxon. Hope this helps
