Well friends...
Today is my dad's 65th birthday. As some of you may recall, he left us when I was 13. I haven't seen him since I was 14 and I haven't spoken with him in 2.5 years - his choice.
Anyway, since today is his birthday and because time is precious, would you offer a prayer for his conversion?
Thank you very much. A priest friend told me that he was never really my father but today, I'm having a hard time with that.

Not to sound patronizing, but I'm so proud of you, Maria. Many of us have difficult relationships with our fathers, yet you are a shining example of never giving up hope. I'm wondering how many dads' souls are helped to heaven through the love and prayers of their daughters? Hang in there, friend. You know that your extended family holds a special place in my heart.

Praying for both you and your father, Maria. My father was the last person on earth I would have thought would become Catholic, yet he expressed his desire to convert a week before he died. He received a catholic burial.
Don't ever give up hope. And don't ever forget that you are loved and worthy of all that love.
