We have a family vacation to RI planned this summer. This is not our first visit to RI. We love the beaches and both my parents are from there.
Any chapter book recommemdations for DD#3?
We already own Little Maid of Narragansett and I may reread this aloud since she was too young to remember it the first time.
Will use the local library for any picture books available for state history, Rick's boat books (the Hereshoff museum is great if you are into that kind of thing)and our seashore book collection (although how any of my kids would not know about clams, tides, and shore birds is beyond me--can you tell I love the seashore!at least on a picture book level).
