Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone know if ALL of the Vision books are going to be reprinted? I found several(edited to add-old,hardback ones) at the hs convention in Arlington, TX. I had not seen any of them on the list in the Ignatius catalog.

I was about to order the reprinted set from Ignatius today, but then wondered if I might do better finding the old editions.

Are there differences between the old and new editions? Do you prefer the old or new? I just love old books so I am tempted to go searching for the old ones. Buying the set at Ignatius sure would save time!

These are the ones I found at the convention:

Good Pope John
The Cross in the West
Lydia Longley-The First American Nun
Modern Crusaders
Irish Saints
Christmas and the Saints
and four or five others that HAVE been reprinted (that I bought years ago at a parish rummage sale)

oooh, this is exciting news! it's so hard to find them at book sales and garage sales so i've bought some online when i can afford it. i don't know what the differences are between old and new, we have some of both, but certainly they are a must-have for any Catholic homeschooling library.

I'm sorry my post wasn't clear.

I found copies of the old, hardback editions. I was so excited because they were the only Catholic books at this Protestant hs convention. This particular vendor had scores of quality old books & one tiny shelf of Catholic books (Vision, Clarion, Banner & Bruce). I bought her out.

Sorry for the confusion!
