Wish I wasn't writing this one :-(
My husband's big brother has just been diagnosed with skin cancer. He is going to have surgery to remove the visible portion on June 28th.
I have been told that they gave him a 3 on a scale of 1-5, and they thought it could be in some lymph nodes.
He is basically a single parent to two girls (15 and 11 y.o.).(Divorced, alcoholic mother)
We will be on vacation from the 18th-25th so I won't be able to post, but I thank you in advance for your prayers.

Jen,
My brother was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma 5 years ago. He has had two surguries, including removal of his lymph nodes. His treatment other than that has been an experimental vaccine through NIH. They watch him cosely and things are going well right now. He has three little girls.
It is just a long, hard road because it is a very persistent cancer. But there is hope.
I will pray for him and your family.

Well Fred had surgery today. I will update as soon as I know anything, but please continue to keep him in your prayers.
(I think he liked hearing that people were praying for him all over the world :-)
