Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Just wondering if anybody uses Winston Grammar and what you think of it. My ds is 12 and we've really struggled with grammar. This almost sounds "Montessori-ish" so I am just curious.

We've used it and Marianna loved it! Only worked half of it this year but she has a huge, amazing grasp of grammar now and is basically diagramming sentences and I am so proud of her! The little cards make all the difference in the world, giving a tangible reminder for the child to hold and place and then to transfer the idea from the manipulative to the paper
A well thought out grammar course that really works well.

Yes, we've used it, and love it! I want to begin Sarah, our extremely hands on learner on it next year. Our sons, who aren't hands on learners did well with it too, particularly the visual one. I think it's very well done!

Becky,
We've used it also, and loved it. It was a great program for Jackson who was 12 at the time.

Thanks everyone. It's so nice to get input from people who have actually tried these programs!

Becky,

I know I am getting in late here, but I used this program with much success! My oldest ds really had a hard time getting grammar lessons to "stick" in his mind before using Winston. It really is a wonderful program!

Blessings,

Tea
