Hello!
It's been a very long time, but I was inspired this morning to reach out to ask how you make money at home with littles in the house?
A little bit of background for me: I am home with 2 littles: DS4 and DD1. I worked in the orthodontic field off and on for about 7 years (until the kids kept me home more often), and I used to sell Pampered Chef before the days of Facebook, and just as the online ordering was taking off. I don't mind repetition of a task, and I always prefer a task that I can do, and leave and not take home with me.
I have looked into some other home selling business, but I am worried about the "get what you put in" kind of effect. I have also looked into some things where you need training and have to take a test before you can even be hired, which makes me nervous.
If you have any advice, I am all ears. Or, of you could add a prayer for us as we decide what our family needs and can do, I would appreciate it!
TIA

I have friends doing well selling Jamberry nail wraps. Lots of online parties make it easier.
My 18 yr old daughter is picking up extra work around town (where a lot of people would tell you, you can't find a job) doing babysitting, house sitting and house cleaning.

I sure wish I had a great answer for you! I would love to know the secret. Since you worked in the orthodontic field, have you looked into doing medical transcription? I don't know anything about it though. Hope you find something.

One time a friend of mine was in a pinch and needed childcare a couple of afternoons a week for 2-3 hours. Even though I didn't charge her the "going rate," I was surprised how quickly the money added up. If I needed to make some extra money to supplement our income I would consider that again. I've especially noticed a need for childcare around 3-5 in the afternoon, after kids get off the bus from school but before parents are home from work.

Add to that childcare on school holidays that aren't work holidays.

Check on it.. but I don't think you need to be licensed if all the kids are from one other family.
