I have several things weighing on my mind. So many people in turmoil. Could you please join me in prayer?

1. For a parish priest in our town who was diagnosed with cancer in the spring. Fr. Dan is only 46 and just found out that the chemo is not getting rid of the cancer. He will be on chemo for the rest of his life. Please pray for a miracle. He is such a gift.

2. For that Fr. Dan's mother, who just lost her other child to a heart attack a month ago. She is widowed and may soon be childless. Please pray that she may have peace and be surrounded by love in her anguish.

3. For my friend C, a mom of four (including a newborn) who is bedridden with sciatica right now. She is having small successes with treatment, but still cannot care for her family. Please pray for a healing.

4. For my 87YO grandfather, who is having surgery today for an infection. Please pray that he won't have to have an amputation and that he will be strong enough for surgery. His body is so weak and this surgery is going to be very taxing on his body.
