And need a lot of prayer. Had a hurtful conversation with midwife today and will likely have to transfer care from our free standing birth center to a hospital where I do not know the obs. My other babies were early so this is very uncharted territory for us. Please pray that my midwife has better bedside manner and can truly help guide us and not abandon us in the end.

Update:
Our son was born! Thank you all for the prayers! A hospital transfer was not needed, and after a fast 5.5 hour labor, we are all doing well!!! Thank you for the prayers!!!! Thank you Lord for hearing my prayers and those of these women!!! Please pray for our postpartum recovery.

Praying for you Maggie. Thank you for letting us know so we can pray! I've been thinking of you and praying for you. I know what you mean. Our first few were early or right on due date, then all the rest have gone over. It can be a whole different ball game as doctors and midwives don't like one to go over the due date and can really push for induction, interventions, etc. Hold fast, be of good courage, the Lord will guide this precious time, just stay close to Him clinging to all that is good and holy during this time that is such a sacred time for your family. I hope and pray otherwise you are doing well, and we will continue to pray for a most beautiful and grace-filled birth. Last minute changes can be so hard! Just keep telling yourself you will make it through this, and very soon it will all be history, past, and you will have a precious new life within your arms to babymoon with, and for everyone to enjoy!
