Ok so I want to go through TOB (theology of the body) this year with my 3 high school kids. But wanted to know for those who have used it at home how did you use it? Did you watch the videos together and use the workbooks? Did you just use the workbooks adding and subtracting where you felt necessary and skip the vidoes? Or did you use something completely different?
What were the areas you stressed and what did you maybe not go so much into?

No I am talking about the one from Ascension Press by Jason & Crystalina Evert and Brian Butler.
But as I said I am open and eager to hear what others have used; if they used anything besides just plan talking with there kids?!

We used the TOB for Teens, in small groups. With our first teen, it was run by youth coordinators and not much parent involvement, and I wasn't too happy with the results, as it was a mix of kids from different backgrounds (mostly public, some private schooled, my teen was the only homeschooled one and therefore the most sheltered  ). Thankfully, she was still at the age where she was very open to us and I was able to address/discuss more in depth her personal concerns at home.
With the next two teens, both boys, they did it with Dad and several other dads in a daddies/sons group of about 7 boys total. Great experience for all, bonding not just among the dads and the boys themselves but of course for the dads with their sons. Having a local network like that (fellow homeschoolers) helped us build a support group for our teens that's still growing strong after several years.
Our 13-year-old daughter is doing TOB for Teens Middle School edition, also with a small group, 8 moms, 10 girls, and we're taking turns teaching the chapters. We meet at a different house each time, 2 moms taking the lead, watching the videos with them, and then doing a little talking/interacting/activity afterwards. So far it's going great but if there's anything we would have changed was to have gone a bit more in-depth beforehand (just us moms) to plan, instead of just passing the DVD and the leaders' guide from person to person, so that we could have a more cohesive presentation that flows better. But it's not a major because we're really very much of the same mindset when it comes to these things so not too jarring for anyone.
We read the chapters at home as well, the child does the workbook, and we discuss anything else that needs more mom-daughter clarification.
