This is a forum where we share ideas and resources for preparing for the sacraments. Thought it would be interesting to see who is preparing for which sacraments this year. Even though we don't teach the babies for baptism, I included it. And I included marriage (and Holy Orders), because even though you wouldn't be doing the marriage prep. (priestly formation) for any adult children yourself, it would be cool to see if anyone is having any weddings (or ordinations) in their family this year. And isn't our life and example of marriage (vocation) an ongoing prep for our children.
Also in your comments share any resources you are using - always helpful to hear those materials and any interesting ideas you have. Remember you need to post a comment to be included for the drawings.
The prizes for this poll include:
Ten Saints by Eleanor Farjeon
Catholic for a Reason by Scott Hahn and Leon J. Suprenant, Jr. eds.
My First Prayerbook (Lovasik)
150 Fun Facts Found in the Bible by Bernadette McCarver Snyder
The Story of Benedict XVI For Young People by Claire Jordan Mohan

I can't choose two, and we are preparing our youngest for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
Our preparation is mainly through the CGS atrium. We are going to read St. Patrick's Summer during Lent as part of our preparation.

Hmmm...you should be able to choose two as I made the poll to include multiple votes. I can vote twice though I don't have a second choice personally.

Can't vote for 2 at same time but should be able to vote multiple times in succession. Any other members trying to vote for two or more let me know.

My youngest had his first confession heard in December, and will be confirmed and receive FHC in June. in our diocese, they do all 3 in 2nd grade.
Eta: we always read King of the Golden City during FHC prep.

No new Sacraments for us this year. You never know when someone will need the Sacrament of Annointing of the sick, but that was not a choice.
Our dd2 is at the age to receive Confirmation, but the program here is so poor, that we just don't know what, how and when we will do it. There is no rush at this point, but sad in any case.

I was able to vote for multiple in succession.
Our Twins will be receiving First Confession and First Communion, and we will have a Baptism when our newest arrives in Sept/Oct.
Blessed Sacrament Preparations to all!

None at my house, though my niece and her husband will be confirmed at Easter (going through RCIA), their daughter is making her FHC, their twin boys are receiving Reconciliation and their two youngest boys are being baptized.
Pretty big year there!

None here, although I am beginning to prepare my oldest for her First Reconciliation and FHC, although she won't receive them until next year.
My husband did receive the Annointing of the Sick recently, though!

If all goes well with this pregnancy, we will have a baptism in July.

Preparing for confirmation.
Our parish has *very* short preparation classes (seven sessions plus weekend retreat) so I've been going through _The Sacrament of Confirmation for Confirmation Candidates_ with her.
[btw our parish doesn't have much choice as there are too many students and too few teachers (or 'classrooms') for different Sacramental classes to run at the same time.]

My fifth will be making his First Penance in a couple of weeks and his First Holy Communion in May - first sacrament in two years.
I miss the years that we had a Sacrament every year - Baptism, FP, FHC, Confirmation - we had several years of these.
I can't wait for one of my kids to celebrate Holy Matrimony (not yet though - they are still too young!)
