Please would you give me some ideas of meals for a group of 10 teens. Previously I have ordered and served the huge pizzas from Costco. I cannot serve anything with fish or peanuts/treenuts. I need ideas for warm and healthy comfort food for college teens, many of whom are big guys, who will be eating here before attending an outdoors concert in December.

Not sure how healthy, but got RAVE reviews when I made it for the all star baseball team (and dads.)

Chili served over rice with cornbread on the side.
Ground beef stew.
Ground beef stroganoff with baked potatoes, cheese, sour cream, and butter.
Taco salad bar with yellow rice and diced tomatoes added to the taco meat.

I would also do something like chili or corn chowder in the crock pot.
Or a big pot of mac and cheese. Some think we are nuts, but my kids love apple sauce with mac and cheese.

I adore this Pizzaghetti recipe! KarenT shared it with me several years ago, and it is a favorite at my house. You could easily double the recipe and make two to feed a pack of teens. I usually use only 1/2 pound ground beef in mine, so a pound of beef could stretch to two full trays.
Pizzaghetti:
2 eggs
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tbs garlic salt
1 cup mozzarella
1 pound spaghetti, cooked
1 pound ground beef
1 jar spaghetti sauce
Oregano
3 cups mozzarella cheese
Pepperoni slices (optional)
Combine the first five ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Drain the spaghetti and run cold water over it.
Add the spaghetti to the bowl and mix thoroughly.
Spread in a 9x13 casserole dish.
Bake at 400 for 15 minutes.
Brown and drain the ground beef, then it spread it over the baked spaghetti.
Top with spaghetti sauce.
Sprinkle with oregano.
Spread 3 cups mozzarella cheese on top
Arrange pepperoni slices on top.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
You can buy a large bag of shredded mozzarella at Costco or Sams. I usually skip the pepperoni- I find the oregano with the different cheeses and garlic salt give this a good pizza flavor (and smell while it is cooking!). This dish also reheats wonderfully.
What I really like is that I can cook the spaghetti and meat the day before or in the morning, and then throw it all together quickly later.

Yeah I'd do a big spaghetti dinner or chili served with pasta and cornbread and shredded cheese (mix and match).
