Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Amazon now offers Kindle Unlimited where you can read certain books for free. It's $9.99 a month, but the first month is free. They have all 3 of the "Chronicles of Xan" stories which I thought were great and my 2 oldest (12 and 10) really enjoyed.

If you have it can you recommend some good titles on there?

A completely different genre, but one of my favorite books is available, "Miss Buncle's Book."

When I signed up, you also got three free months of Audible, so I felt it was worth it to get the three audible credits for $20. I admit, though, I have a hard time navigating the offerings! I would love to know what others have found worthy of borrowing.

Kindle use to have a free lending library and you could choose one book a month to read for free. Do they no longer have that?

We used up our free month and ds lost The Lord of the Rings book he was reading. Now I have to purchase it. I don't plan to purchase the unlimited because he wouldn't use it enough.

I tried to find it on the free lending library and it has the lending library but once you click on the book it has the cost or free with unlimited and nothing about the lending library. I assume they dropped that service. I wish I had received an email about that! I don't care that they dropped it but good customer service from a company should have told me. Usually Amazon has good service.

They didn't drop it. Kindle unlimited offers books independently of that.
