Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi Ladies! A friend of mine will be in the Adirondack MTn region one Sunday and near Hudson Falls another Sunday of their family vacation. She is looking for a TLM or a really reverent Novus Ordo Mass in both locations. Any of you know of any?? She is very grateful for any suggestions. The last time she went unprepared, they found a Mass that featured a puppet show

Thanks!!

Here's a link for Traditional Latin Mass Directory.. I'm pretty sure all are approved/in union with Rome.

When we were in the ADK's last year, we attended a Mass at (I believe) St. Bartholomew's. I hope I'm remembering it correctly.

I was not able to find a TLM Mass, but the Mass we did attend was fine. Not knock your socks off, but I didn't see any blatant irreverence or abuses. Kneeling when you should, tabernacle in the middle, prayers said when they should be said and how they should be said etc. I didn't see any veiling or large families. In fact, the priest was a little overwhelmed by our 4 children when we went up to introduce ourselves and say hello. So, I got the impression that the Catholic culture that I'm used to wasn't very prominent, but then again, it was a struggle to find a grocery store. Different culture up there all around.
