I ask today for prayers for me especially but also my family. Beginning of July we got sick with strep. I am a believer in natural healing and we see a chiropractor who loves the Lord. It took some time but we all recovered and were healthy for 2 weeks.
That brings us to last week. When I woke with the worst sore throat possible (and I tolerate pain very well). It came back with a vengeance. I lost my voice except for a whisper all weekend and Monday, today I can speak with crackles. My family is following suite but on a lesser note.
I would just ask the God of all healing who gives our bodies the strength and proper nutrients it needs to fully recover and restore what needs restoring. I know that we will be stronger after this bout and it's ok. Our family is one of those families that people are amazed we're sick as we are never sick. It is just our time.
