It has been a long time since I have come to this board, though I still recognize many names. 
The truth is I have been lost. My faith was weak and I was just floundering around in this world making mistake after mistake. The Lord finally got fed up with me and brought me to my knees. Thank you, Lord for that. He showed me through a series of events that I have not been the wife and mother He created me to be. I have been very selfish, especially over the last year. I do not know how this downward spiral began but it ends now. I know only through Christ can I become who I was meant to be.
I humbly ask for your prayers, that I may be strengthened through faith and love. I appreciate it so much. Also, my husband's job was cut a month ago, so it's a scary time for both of us. Can you also pray for him, that he will find something soon and that his spirits will remain up? He has been amazing and as upbeat as possible through all of this. I am truly blessed.
Thank you. I can't express how much it means to me to know that there are people supporting me with prayer.

**update - no change financially speaking but God is definitely working on me! He is showing me the way and filling me with hope, peace and gratitude. I have a renewed sense of excitement and anticipation about what He will do in my life...a feeling that I had thought I had lost for good. Praise the Lord for renewal! I am beginning a novena for financial help/freedom today. I am praying nine times a day for 9 days...for as long as needed. Thank you for your prayers. Please continue to pray for us...it is so appreciated.**

It is wonderful to see you post again on the boards, and we will definitely pray for you. Haven't we all been down that road ourselves at one time or another?
Asking St. Joseph right now to intercede for your family, especially on the job front.

Thank you so much everyone. I've already made a step by picking out this coming year's curriculum and setting up a schedule. A small thing but more than I've accomplished in a while.  I spent some quiet time in prayer about it and it feels great. Also my youngest and I prayed together about our family being happier. Everyone seems happy and peaceful for a change...Thank you!
