Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

In the last week, I have been bitten by something in the yard, on 2 different occasions. As a rule, mosquitoes don't like me, I don't get bites. And when I do get bit, I don't react. No redness, no bump, no itchiness.

Now, the thing is, which is bizarre, I don't feel the bite, or tickle of the bug. And when I go upstairs and catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror, I have blood dripping, or pooling. One I'd found as my hair had dried in to it, and when I turned my head, it tugged. The other was a bigger surprise, it was a big clot bigger than a quarter on my neck. Once cleaned up, it was just a teeny tiny dot. 3 days later, still a dot, no bump.

Any idea what kind of bite? I have a pic of the one, the other I didn't think. Though I don't know if it would help. It's just a little red dot.

I believe black fly bites can cause that.

Yes to black flies or possibly gnats/no-see-ums.
