I'd like to make a trip to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with my husband this summer, but I'm not familiar with Cleveland and Northern Ohio. Can you recommend where to stay, other things to do? I'm a small town girl that is slightly uncomfortable in the big city, so I don't really like staying in urban downtown locations (plus they are expensive).

Great Lakes Science Center is next to rock and roll hall of fame. There is the USS Cod to tour there in the harbor. What side of Cleveland? What kind of things do you like to do? There is an awesome park system in the Cleveland area and in the surrounding counties. -Annie

The Cleveland zoo is well worth the trip. Also the Museum of Art which is free and the Natural History Museum which is not free but just across the park from the Art one. Very convenient for those of us who don't like city driving!
