Our printer died. We had an HP F300 and it really was an excellent workhorse for us. It used cartridges faster than I would have liked, but was fine with a lot of printing on cardstock. I would love to hear your recommendations. I need a good copier (mostly black and white). I would prefer wireless since I use a laptop. It really needs to print well on cardstock. Thanks!

We have an Epson Workhorse 3540. We have always loved Epson printers. One of the things I love the best is that it prints double-sided without having to flip the paper.

Quality on cardstock = excellent

It's been too long since we got our printer to recommend it.. but since you mostly want black and white printing.. look for a black and white laser printer instead of an inkjet type.. the toner lasts a long time and ends up being cheaper in the long run.

We would highly recommend the Epson Workforce line, as well. We LOVE this printer!!!! We've had it for 2 years now, and still are extremely happy with it. We have the Epson Workforce 845.

This Thread talks about printers. If you scroll down, you'll see Jen's(Mackfam's)great highlights on the positive features of of this printer, and mine below there, as well.

I also highly recommend these refillable ink cartridges. They are the BEST refillable cartridges we have ever tried. They have never given us trouble, are every easy to fill(just make sure you wait until the cartridge shows as needing filling, when the printer says on the screen "cannot recognize cartridge" and lists the color). We use a LOT, LOT, LOT of ink with our business, and the inexpensive ink we are able to find in 4 oz. bottles(I think that's the size) lasts us months.

Oh, and we have our's set up wireless, so it definitely works wireless. HTH!
