I just discovered that Braggs Liquid Amino Acids
make an excellent popcorn topping.
I heard a lady mention it in Whole Foods the other day, and that reminded me that I had some at home, having bought it because it was supposedly very healthy but never actually having opened the bottle .
The spray bottle it comes in makes it so easy to spray on popcorn, and it sticks to air popped corn very well. It is naturally salty, so just spray it on and enjoy. It does contain soy, though- heads up.

But there is a Coconut Aminos that would probably work just the same with no soy (no coconut flavor.. think soy sauce for flavor)

I really like nutritional yeast over my popcorn. We can’t do parmesan with the severe dairy allergies in the house, so the nutritional yeast is a great alternative. It is sort of addicting.....

I'm new to the amino acid thing, so I didn't even realize coconut was an option. I haven't tried nutritional yeast, either, but I think I will give that a whirl as well. Can I buy it in a regular grocery store, or do I need to wait for my next Whole Foods trip?

The coconut aminos was a special whole foods trip here. Which for me meant that something else made a trip necessary and while I was there I made a special stop for it.
But I was specifically hunting for a substitute for soy sauce that did not have soy in it.

We do nutritional yeast, too. We often do both nutritional yeast and taco seasoning.

That sounds good!!
Melinda, I think Whole Foods will be the best place to find it....most regular grocery stores don’t carry it.
