My husband's father fell and broke his hip yesterday evening. He is in the hospital undergoing tests to see if they can do surgery. I know they would love any prayers you could offer. Thanks!

Dh's dad surgery to pin left femur just below ball of hip is set for 4:45 today. He has been cleared for the surgery but is also having one more test for low oxygen level.

He is 10 hours away, which I think is what is hardest on dh. The updates from family include the litany of siblings taking turns in helping MIL and sitting in the hospital with FIL, and dh, who is very much a doer, feels helpless.
