Please pray for Pilgrim and her family who have been struck with another round of the virus which has been plaguing their family for the past six weeks. She is especially concerned that their 3yo and 1yo not catch it again, since they're are the hardest to care for and Pilgrim herself has been hit pretty hard again.

Thank you, dear friends. Only a sweet mother would ask for what her child felt she should not.   I have asked so many times for prayers for this intention, I felt I shouldn't ask more.
I am feeling a little better this morning. The middle kiddos have all had a round of the illness again. We had testing done for bacterial infections, those came back negative. So... it's a virus, a nasty one. We thank God it seems the second round is less strong, but another round with the littlest ones would be so hard to bear.  The sickness is already doing a number on us, and it hits during the night with the kids for some reason, so when they are up it gives us so much lack of sleep, and that doesn't help in our own recovery.
May God reward you for your prayers!

Praying with empathy Pilgrim. We had a really bad year about 3 years ago. Wave after wave of the same type of viral illness. Now it's down to once or twice a year and not everyone gets it anymore.

 I'm praying the Little Girls don't get it so we CAN make it tomorrow. Especially since our 6 year old has been waiting for us all to get better so we can celebrate his birthday with DH's parents, whose house we're going to tomorrow. They said if anyone gets sick, they're just going to bring his present out here so he can *finally* open it.
Yes, Jenn the crackers and ginger ale are getting old! We have had so many weeks of bland foods, everyone has rejoiced any time we've had a "real" meal. It was funny dd12 loves cereal and yogurt, often asking for one or the other after dinner. Even she was saying she was *SO* tired of cereal and yogurt and wanted some meat a couple days ago. We've had so many in varying stages of being unable to eat meat and such for so many weeks, I haven't wanted to or been up to the energy of cooking full fledged meals. So we are ALL looking forward to Thanksgiving this year. Everyone raved over how wonderful the meatloaf dinner we had a couple nights ago was, It is SOOOOO nice to be able to feed *everyone* a regular meal!
Thank you all for continued prayers, they mean SO MUCH to us. The Faith and your prayers is the only thing that has carried us through these long weeks. I'm feeling quite a bit better, just some muscle aches leftover, and a bit worn out/down. Praying like crazy that the littlest one's will escape the second round everyone has had, as we just don't feel up to any more of this, especially with those who require intense care when it hits.
