Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am curious if anyone has been having problems with Yahoo groups since the new format came out.

I am experiencing these difficulties:

1. I am continually asked to upgrade my Yahoo pages. However, the links provided lead to a dead end page with no way to upgrade.

2. Trouble posting and/or replying to posts.
I can't respond to a post without refreshing the whole page every single time. Sometimes I can't reply at all. Today I cannot start a new topic- I can write it,but I am not able to scroll down to the "send" part.

Everyday there seems to be a new glitch. Is this Yahoo or is this me?

I don't actually visit the web page of the only yahoo group that I'm in (our local homeschool group). I just do it all by email. I haven't had any problems with that lately.

When the new format came out I deleted our co-op's Yahoo Group and went over to the Shutterfly Share site. We had SO many problems with the new Yahoo Group format (and, to be honest, I didn't think it was so great to begin with!)

Social media recommendation: Ditch yahoo groups. There are so many better ways to communicate as a group online. A simple GroupMe.com application allows for a variety of ways to access and correspond that can make everyone happy.

Yahoogroups is just plain awful and I refuse to be a part of it. Really, everyone deserves better!

Love,

We are in the process of moving our group, too.

My main grief is that Cathswap is still using Yahoo groups.

I can't post or reply there very often with all the glitches, which is very frustrating

Yes. I dream of the day that CathSwap is an actual forum separated into categories - - and a search feature!

There is a search feature-in the new group format it is at the very top of the page. It sometimes works very well and sometimes goes off into its own web search that is of no help.

I was mistaken and my email group is in Google groups, not yahoo. So, of course I wasn't having any problems.
