Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We have been working throughProject Passport Middle Ages from Home School in the Woods and we are enjoying it. We are about to the lessons on the church in the Middle Ages. Honestly, I haven't set down to pre-read it yet. Has anyone used this and find any problems with the church history? My knowledge for this time period is not great and I worry most about missing something this isn't obviously Catholic friendly.

If anyone has a suggestion for a book that would fit the ages of 12 and 9 for the church during this time period, please share. My oldest is reading about Saints during this time and we have two fiction read aloud coming up (purchased from Emmanuel Books, so it's safe).

I haven't used it yet, but have been looking at it as well. We return to the middle ages next year.

As far as books, I used several Emmanuel books for that time period too, but I think there are several lists somewhere on here too.
