My ds has been endlessly bugging me to join a fantasy football league. I don't think that I have any issues with this, big picture, but I am not at all for him going to ESPN.com and just joining a random free league.

First question: Does any one have any advice for joining a league? Pros, Cons??

Second questions: Would any of you have children say 13ish - 18ish that would like to create a 4Real Fantasy Football League?

I think you can do it for free at ESPN. With the free option there is no $$ to be made just the joy of winning.

Thanks and Please, please help me help my son feel like a "normal" teen age boy!

I guess there really are no football fans here! I thought that this would be a lot of fun to do with other 4Real kids, but we did find a league for him to pay on with other adults. You would not believe the amount of copy work that my ds has done to prepare for the draft. He is also working on strategic thinking skills for how to pick players. Don't forget math, he was explaining to me how the points get calculated. Wow! This is a whole curriculum....at least that is my story and I am sticking to it.

I was gone for a couple weeks, Betsy but I have a son that would have been interested. I am surprised there weren't more, too. We do have a "local" league composed of some boys (and dads) from our homeschool group.
