Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Sorry this might not be the appropriate forum for this question but it seemed to fit best.

DD will be 4 in a few months. She has a cheap plastic play kitchen she got from a relative. It's not a favorite toy but it is played with daily. It's pretty ugly and I'd prefer something more attractive since it will be in my new kitchen. We came close to buying her a wooden play kitchen like this (yes, I know it's from a Waldorf supplier) a few years ago but then she received the cheap plastic kitchen. I'm thinking about buying it for her name's day this fall, or perhaps this small play kitchen.

For those of you who have play kitchens for your daughters, how long did they play with them? I don't want to buy an expensive wooden play kitchen if she'll grow out of it shortly.

It really depends on the girl.. but my current 6.5 yr old still plays with some of the pieces we have.

My son age 5 1/2 plays regularly, and my 10 year old still loves playing once in a while.
