Regarding this prayer request........

Some friends and I are brainstorming options to help out. One friend was able to set up an page on fundly.com.

Are there other ways that are *worth it* to do for fundraising? I have done many, many things for our sports teams...but really for all the work that went into it we often only raised $1000 if were are lucky? (Not to say that isn't a lot of $$$, but it was usually a lot of work for each of the 10-12 families to make that successful)

Anyone with any experience with this???????

I don't really know from experience, but I read this article that a friend shared yesterday, What Can Schools Sell Instead of Candy? Trash Bags., and I thought, "Yes! Absolutely!"

Lindsay...that is an interesting idea. I am not a huge fan of door-to-door sales (although my kids love to do it!)---but if we could get something that we could go to local businesses that sounds more lucrative!
