Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My 3 yo has begged me to read these books to her every day for a week! They are simple, but excellent for little ones (and probably bigger ones, too) to begin to notice the things going on around them in nature. Siblings walk through a natural setting noticing clues (like broken egg shells, feathers, gnawed wood) and discussing what creature might have passed that way. I would think they would be work very well incorporated into nature study.

In the Woods: Who's Been Here
Around the Pond: Who's Been Here

There are several more like these that we haven't seen yet. Enjoy the whole series!

In the Snow: Who's Been Here? is the only one I've seen. Thanks for the recommendation on the others.

I love this series!! In addition to the beautiful nature drawings, the books portray warm family relationships. I second kbfsc's recommendation!
