Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Dc want to make DIY/Make-Your_Own pizza as part of a party to celebrate birthdays with friends next month. We're talking multiple teens and young adults. We've had make your own pizza parties for family in the past, but I'd love for some helpful tips or fresh ideas:

~Any new ideas for toppings?

~Tips for stream lining production in a smallish kitchen?

~Prep ideas? (I'm still recovering from a rib injury and would like to do as much ahead of time as possible)

~Favorite tools for making pizza? Since my own birthday falls in the same timeframe, I thought it might be nice to get some new pizza-making tools!

TIA dear ladies!

sharpie on foil can make nametags for pizzas on a common pan. (we put 3 personal pizzas to a cookie sheet).

multiple timers would help for adding pans to the oven as they're ready rather than waiting for them all to go in at the same time.

If you don't have someone else to roll out the dough.. consider french bread pizzas or such.. rolling out the dough would probably hurt.

If you have space, I prefer to set the ingredients on the table and let people walk around the table to make their pizza and save the kitchen space for just baking and collecting finished pizzas.

Besides the dinner pizza, how about the sweet fruit pizza for dessert? It's made from cookie dough, spread with cream cheese and then topped with slices of fruit.

Great ideas and tips Jodie! We happen to have Sharpies and extra timers already! I just love it when God and St. Anthony provide before we even perceive the need!

Regarding crust ~ we like to parbake homemade crust. Has anyone frozen parbaked crusts? Would you thaw them before topping, then bake as usual? I'm definitely planning to have dh and/or dc roll out any dough! I'm hoping they can make the crusts ahead, as well as prep toppings, in the interest of freeing things up the day of the get-together.

Dessert pizza? A whole new concept here! Sounds fun! Thanks Jenn!
