Please pray for the healing of our priest, Father Erik. Pray for the victim, Jim Evans, a friend of ours. And pray for the twisted soul of him who shot our friend. Pray also for those who were present during the Mass at which the shooting took place as well as those of us who missed it, but who are still affected. I am so shaken up, but at the same time I am so grateful that my children were spared the trauma in their lives.

Wow, TIna! I saw the news report on this earlier today but had no idea it was in a parish where we knew someone. We will continue to pray for everyone.

Oh, no. I heard about this yesterday on Fr. Z and was so shocked. How sad for your friend and his family. I'm so glad to hear that he is expected to recover. Will pray for all.
