Elizabeth, the post is beautiful...as all your articles are.

I was serve a cheese/ham omelet in bed this morning complete with a single red rose and cup of coffee. I didn't get a photo of it for the blog because it was presented as I lay half-asleep with the youngest in the crook of my arm and they expected me to eat it right away...the two younger girls helped me. It was a pretty BIG omelet. Courtesy of the Samantha American Girl's cookbook.
