Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My rising 6th grade is finishing up the First Language Lessons series from Susan Wise Bauer. Next year I was planning on moving to Hillsides Intermediate LL then onto Lingua Mater in the future years.

However, I have really liked, and I think he would reluctantly agree too, that he likes the diagramming in the FLL. So I was thinking it could be good to have a diagramming workbook, nothing too intense, just something to keep those skills going.

I have no experience with diagramming other than FLL. Anyone have any suggestions???

I've never actually seen it or used it, but I have always imagined using Mary Daly's Diagramming Books at some point.

Here is her description of the books.

We've used it and like it a lot. I have it on my radar for the next round of middle school.

Kacky, Mary's books are good and we also have used Rex Barks as a helpful reference guide.

I also recommend Mary Daly's books.
