Rose has been sickly for awhile with congestion and a bad cough and some fevers. Two surgery dates were cancelled. Whatever she had has turned into pnemonia and we are in the ER waiting to be admitted. She has a new surgery date of May 13 so we are hopeful that everything will be cleared up by then.
The adoption part of our Rose story is getting really intense and we would appreciate prayers for strength to keep going down the path God has put us on. We have received so many signal graces along the way and have good support, but I experience times of great anxiety. Cash is much calmer. Putting our trust in our Lord and His Mother and invoking the prayers and helps of many Saints.

Update - 4/30
We heard from the birth parents yesterday morning that they intend to sign the adoption papers!!!! It is a miracle. We were all due in court tomorrow where things were really going to pick up on the legal/adoption front and I kind of expected something like this to happen. I hoped for something like this to happen. We will still go to court, but things will proceed differently and they will not have to appear. I don't know the timeline. Things could happen quickly or slowly, but we are filled with peace and gratitude today.
Rose was released from the hospital Saturday night, another small miracle, and is doing well on antibiotics. Doing our best to keep her healthy so that she can have the surgery on the 13th.
So, so, so many signal graces have been received. I am trying to document everything and plan to write our story eventually. There have been some unbelievably amazing God moments. We are so undeserving. We are so humbled.
Please storm heaven for peace for Rose's birth parents.
My heart is filled with gratitude for all of the prayers offered for us and them from you dear ladies.
