I am having knee replacement surgery today. Ten years after diagnosis, the time has finally come.
We have some incredible stressful issues swirling around us, and this surgery of course was already in motion before then, but we are going ahead anyway.
My surgery is at 1:30 MT. Can I please, once again, ask for your prayers for me today and during the upcoming 'grueling rehab', as the surgeon described it?
I am offering all of my sufferings for the needs of others, and you, dear ladies, are certainly on my list - both your expressed intentions as well as the silent ones you carry in your hearts.
I will be in the hospital for several days and don't know about internet access, but will check back at some point as soon as I am able.

Yes, the rehab will be tough, but it will be worth it in the end.
