Ladies,
I desperately need your prayers. I had a very traumatic miscarriage Tuesday evening. I had bleeding/cramping and went to the doctor, and baby looked great. Came home, everything got worse and I passed out. My mother in law, husband, and children were all here. They called the ambulance and I was taken to the hospital. The bleeding wouldn't stop and the OB wanted to do a D&C immediately. My DH and I insisted that he do an ultrasound to check on the baby. He was very irritated and insisted that no baby could survive that much blood loss. We stood firm, and while he left to get the ultrasound machine we begged God not to make us make that decision. I begged God to let the baby already be gone, and he/she was.
I am home and on strict orders to not do anything for a week. My blood count was 7.5 when I came home Wednesday afternoon. I have a long road to feeling better physically. Emotionally, well, that will take even longer.
This was so traumatic for all of us. My DH thought he was going to lose me. Our children were very frightened. We need all the prayers you can offer for us.

Just as an encouragement-I have a friend who had a similar experience years ago. She healed well and has since had several more children.

Lindsey, please know that I am praying for you and your family. I am so sorry. I know the pain of this loss. May the Lord wrap you in his loving arms and hold you all tightly during this painful time.
And I agree with Angie, it is a privilege to know of your little one.

Lindsey, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, and particularly how traumatic it was. I had a very similar miscarriage 3 years ago, it is very scary, especially for dh and family who are nearby! We will all pray for healing and comfort for your physical needs, but even more for the pain of the heart.
I found that Floradix Iron and Herbs helped tremendously in my recovery, as I, too lost a lot of blood. It seems expensive, but it is really worth it. Money was tight when we got it for me, but I was so glad we did.

Yes Floradix or alfalfa tablets.. AND a good vitamin B complex (I get B total from vitacost.. it's a sublingual liquid).
We had a pretty scary one here too. And I had 2 more after that.
