Hoping we could start a thread of catholic authors (and thus catholic books). Mainly looking for novels, biographies and autobiographies. I will look myself and post some I've read sometime!

We just finished a good autobiography entitled Who Gets the Drumstick? The author is Helen Beardsley, and the movie "Yours, Mine, and Ours" was based on it. They were a family of 20 children.

young adult fiction - Regina Doman, fairy tales retold in modern day, I started out reading ahead of my oldest but found I really enjoyed them, and I can stand a bit of light reading now and again. 
I'd need to go and check the shelves for anything else, since I just bought 2 of the Regina Doman I can remember her name for now.

I have found so many wonderful out-of-print books using the 4-Sight Edition Catholic Authors. This thin review of Catholic authors who specialized in children's literature has some great books that are worth searching for. I just wish someone would update it to include newer books. It was published in 1949!

This book was written by a catholic theologian and contains many catholic authors. It also discusses the different books they wrote.

I'm on Goodreads. I'd love to know anyone else from this list who is on it. There is a catholic readers group that I joined on there, and it has over 400 members.
