Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I know there must be plenty of info in the archives here about IEW, but the search function won't let me access them.

It is becoming apparent to me over time that my ds really enjoys learning via dvd/video. He enjoys the art dvds with Ms. Volin much more than he liked Artistic Pursuits, and he loves science with Robert Krampf at the Happy Scientist more than any book we've used.

He is an auditory/kinesthetic learner (who is also easily frustrated), so it makes sense that if he can see an action being done (vs. only reading about it) and hear an explanation, he is going to understand it better. He will also feel more comfortable and confident in his work.

So I am wondering if IEW would be a good fit for him- he could watch the dvds and get a better feel for what is being asked for and how to do it in terms of his writing.

He is a good narrator but a very reluctant writer unless he has a definite purpose.

For those who have used IEW, would it be a good fit for a boy like this?

Thanks, Stef

I was not capitalizing IEW, so that was part of my problem in locating threads
