I have a hardcover copy of E. Nesbit's The Enchanted Castle and my daughter just discovered a slight problem. Pages 22-38 are missing; they have been replaced with duplicate pages of p.39-54.

This title is not showing up in my Amazon order history, so I do not remember where I purchased it! I emailed Harper Collins, but they said the book is out of stock and cannot replace it.

I am sure there are some obvious solutions to this problem, but I can't seem to think of anything right now, other than getting a copy from the library. I suggested she write her own version of what she thinks the missing pages would say, but she's not too keen on this idea!

Ideas?

That is frustrating...
Maybe someone has the book here and could scan the pages to email you. I wish I did. I also saw that there is a .99 kindle edition if you have a reader.

There's a Kindle edition free on Amazon. You can just download the Kindle reader for your computer.

There's also an audio version on Librivox. You could download that and she could listen to it.
