It's been almost two weeks since my son swallowed a penny. Please pray that it shows itself soon. We have until Monday until we will need to take the next step of an x-ray.

I'll pray, for sure. This happened to my son, twice! Once at age almost 3 and once at barely 4. So scary for mama! We did do an xray within a few days to make sure it was in the stomach. Not sure if that's an option for you. I'll pray it shows very soon!

Praying here, too.
Two weeks is a long time for you to have this worry!

BTW...it's my 8yo! I wouldn't have been as surprised if it was a Lego, but a penny? My ped said that since he is feeling fine and there are no other concerning signs, we can wait for the 2 week mark. It' s just now getting to me.

I know, I don't get it. Why? I think for mine its been accidental but why put it in your mouth to begin with. And I know how it starts to really get to you. I'll offer up my afternoon stresses for your peace and his well being.
